"I am too shy/ too afraid to speak German."

I have heard this a couple of times. There is no need to be afraid of speaking this new language. In the beginner class we use more English than German so that you can ask all your questions without any language barrier. With each lesson German is used more and more. You won't be pushed to speak German from the very first lesson but it is welcomed to try as often as possible.
